How do I appeal my parking citation?

There is a 10 day appeal period from the date of the ticket. You may email your appeal to parking@northcity.com. Be sure to include the ticket number, license plate number, and citation location along with a clear description of your appeal in the email.

How do I apply my monthly parker sticker to my front windshield?

To apply, remove the protective cover sheet from the front of the permit. Glass should be clean and dust free. Press permit in place. No tape or other adhesive needs to be used. The permit must be positioned on the interior lower left corner of the vehicle's front windshield adjacent to the VIN plate. Do not cover the VIN plate. If you plan to use a different vehicle, the permit can be easily transferred by lifting any corner and gently pulling away from the windshield. Permits can then be reapplied as needed. No temporary replacement permit will be issued. If lost, a replacement fee may apply.

Can I pay by mailing a personal check or money order?

No. We are not currently accepting money grams or checks as a form of payment. Payment must be processed by use of a credit or debit card.


Can I drop off payment in person?

No. We are currently only accepting payments online at www.payparkingcitation.com.


My car has been towed. How can I get more information?

Check around your parking space for any information from the tow company. The contact info for our towing service is Western Towing servicing North City & Corner 2 Oaks (760) 738-9244. westerntowing.com. Contact us with an email to parking@northcity.com. Be sure to include the ticket number and license plate number, along with a clear description of your issue in the email.


I have an overdue citation. Will my car get towed away?

Your vehicle may be towed if the vehicle has three or more delinquent citations. If your vehicle is in danger of being towed, you should pay your citations immediately.


I can't afford to pay this citation. Can I have it cancelled?

No, unfortunately parking citations cannot be cancelled due to an inability to pay. To appeal your citation, contact us at parking@northcity.com.


Is there a processing fee?

No, there is no processing fee or tax to pay your parking citation via debit or credit card.


I’m getting an error when I submit my credit card information. What do I do?

Credit card errors will result from mis-entered information such as a bad card number, expiration date or name and billing address data. Please be sure to enter your credit card information EXACTLY as it appears on the card.


Do I get a receipt when I pay for a citation?

Yes, you will be emailed a receipt for your payment.


How long does it take for my payment to reflect in your system?

The citation is updated with your payment as soon as you successfully complete your transaction (you obtain the receipt page with your transaction number). If you have cause to believe that your transaction completed but the system did not update, DO NOT ATTEMPT THE SAME PAYMENT. This is to ensure that you do not submit a duplicate payment. Are payments through www.payparkingcitation.com secure?

Yes, all payments are processed and encrypted through Stripe.com, a PCI Service Provider Level 1. Please use the link to view Stripe’s security policies.
